Ellen followed love to Ronse eight years ago and hasn’t regretted it for a second. She runs her own business, Alfasent, partly from home and partly from Ghent. Much of her free time is taken up by the local dog school, Woef Company, where she both trains with her dog and works as an instructor. In addition, she enjoys yoga and going out for good food and drinks with friends and family.

Why Ronse?

The slogan of the city of Ronse is “City with a view,” and you immediately understand why when you enter the city. As part of the Flemish Ardennes, it’s an ideal destination for cyclists and hikers, with several forests and beautiful nature (the Muziekbos is highly recommended). But the city centre should not be overlooked either. In recent years, the city has worked hard to make the centre pleasant and lively, with several squares and spots where charming cafés and restaurants are waiting to be discovered.Map updated on 14-04-2026
